Accessibility
We design and build websites that everyone can use, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboards or magnification, and help Ontario organizations meet their AODA requirements.
Built to WCAG 2.0 AA, the AODA web standard
Keyboard, screen reader and contrast testing
Accessible components your team can reuse
Training on keeping new content accessible
Why it matters
Under Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), many organizations are required to make their websites conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA. Beyond compliance, accessible websites are easier for everyone to use, perform better in search and reach a wider audience.
We build accessibility in from the start, from colour contrast and heading structure to keyboard navigation and form labels, so it’s never an expensive add-on later.
Ontario organizations with AODA obligations
Non-profits, charities and public sector organizations
Higher education and membership associations
Any business that wants to welcome every customer
What’s included
Every accessibility project is scoped to your needs, but most include:
We check your site against WCAG 2.0 AA and prioritize the issues that matter most.
Brand colours and type sizes tuned so text is easy to read, including for low-vision visitors.
Every menu, link, button and form usable without a mouse, with clear, visible focus states.
Meaningful headings, landmarks, alt text and form labels that assistive technology understands.
Automated checks plus manual keyboard and screen reader testing on your key page templates.
We show your team how to keep new pages, images and documents accessible.
How it works
Accessibility is part of every stage of our process, not a checklist at the end.
We assess your current site and identify the barriers visitors face.
We design layouts, colours and components that meet WCAG 2.0 AA.
We develop and test with keyboards, screen readers and audit tools.
We train your team and help keep new content accessible over time.
“They worked through a true learning period around accessibility alongside us so we could really help our audience.”

FAQs
The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act sets accessibility standards for Ontario organizations. Public sector organizations, and businesses and non-profits with 50 or more employees in Ontario, must make their websites conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We can help you understand where your site stands.
Often, yes. We start with a review and fix the most important issues first. If your site has deeper structural problems, a rebuild may be more cost-effective, and we’ll tell you honestly.
No. Overlay widgets don’t fix the underlying code and can create new barriers for assistive technology users. Real accessibility comes from how a site is designed and built.
We train your team on accessible content, like alt text, headings and descriptive link text, and we’re available for regular check-ins through a maintenance retainer.
